Meet Vero
RPN, CDP®, Positive Approach to Care® (PAC™) Certified Independent Trainer

Hello! My name is Veronique Ladd (but you can call me Vero). So, why 'Vero'?
For 2 reasons: First, because I'm fluent in English, French & Spanish, and 'Vero' is the simplest way to say my name in those languages, and I love to keep things simple! (that's one of the reasons I love the PAC™ methods by the way). Second, being from a rural community, I'm used to being on a first name basis with folks pretty quickly, so let's just start from that friendly place.
Having rural roots, I understand the challenges of maintaining connectivity and resources in more isolated areas. For this reason, I've decided to expand my dementia training workshop services to include a wider area. I primarily provide services in the central/east areas of Ontario, however if you are in a rural area in this province, and want to participate in training sessions, do not hesitate to talk to me. I care and want to help!
Drawing on my own professional experience as an RPN in long-term-care, providing education & supports in the community, and my own lived experience as a family caregiver, my passion for supporting those facing challenges associated with dementia has grown immensely.
I now offer a variety dementia care training services based on the teachings of Positive Approach to Care® (PAC™) founder, Teepa Snow, and look forward to collaborating with you and your care team!
